returns

our policy

as our pieces are all handmade, there is always the chance that small faults may occur.

we will meet our obligations to provide either the opportunity to mend, replace or refund your pieces if these issues occur within the thirty day window.

repairs at a later date can be arranged at the purchaser’s cost and our discretion.

returns and exchanges

due to hygiene reasons we cannot accept change of mind returns for earrings.

as all rings are custom made for you, it is unlikely that they will be eligible for return.

if your ring does not fit your measurements, please email sweetlikehoneyearrings@gmail.com.

exchanges can be discussed by emailing sweelikehoneyearrings@gmail.com, and will be at our discretion.

if you do wish to return an item and have validated this with us, you will need to pay for the return shipping back to us, and if you choose to exchange your jewellery you will need to pay for postage for your new pairs too. shipping costs are non-refundable. if your products do meet the requirements for return (obvious wear, broken unnaturally, etc.) then next steps can be discussed on a case by case basis.

only under extraordinary circumstances will a refund be offered, and this will be our discretion.

thirty days to return

if you change your mind about your necklace and bracelet purchases within thirty days of purchase and there are no faults or damages we can offer you a store credit or exchange. this is conditional on if the original items are returned to us at the purchaser’s expense and are in a resalable condition.

if you believe that your jewellery has arrived damaged or faulty, you must send photographic evidence as soon as possible through either instagram or email.

if you manage to fault or break your jewellery after this thirty day period it is up to us whether we will accept the items for return, and photographic evidence may be required.

our prices

we do our best to keep our prices as low as we can, but sometimes we will have to make small adjustments due to demand and price changes of our materials from our suppliers.

our prices reflect the care and intent that comes with handmade products.

processing & shipping times

as stipulated in our shipping page, please allow up to 5 business days for your order to be processed from the date you place your order.

for example, this means that if you place your order on a friday night, it could take up until the next friday to be processed and shipped out.

(usually it will not take anywhere near this long though!)

business terms & conditions

the products we provide include jewellery items such as earrings, necklaces, rings & bracelets. these are handmade using materials such as hypoallergenic stainless steel and tarnish-free silver wire. our products are made to order, and most pairs are expected to be slightly different due to their handmade nature.

payment is expected at checkout, and no orders will be processed until payment is received through stripe. this should occur as soon as you place orders through our secure checkout page with a valid debit or credit card. we do not hold or have access to your card information.

as stated above, we offer a thirty day window for returns and exchanges. if you change your mind after this period, we are not obliged to provide a remedy under consumer law.

due to their handmade nature, our pieces have a 30 day warranty. this is because they are delicate and require extra care. faults and damage reported after this period will be handled on a case by case basis and the ultimate decision will be made at our discretion.

once your order has been sent we are not liable for its arrival. proof of postage in the form of a tracking number will be emailed once your order has been sent through nz post, however the arrival of your package is out of our control. please note that we have taken the upmost care with your package while it is under our care, however once it has been transferred for delivery with nz post we have no control over lost parcels. in most instances we will offer a remedy, but we are not obligated to offer a refund.

we collect personal information from you, including information about your:

we collect your personal information in order to:

  • fulfill your orders & understand our demographic audience.

providing some information is optional. however, if you choose not to enter your name, postal address and contact information, we'll be unable to fulfill and post orders! we keep your information safe by storing it in password protected files and not disclosing it with others.

you have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong. if you’d like to ask for a copy of your information, or to have it corrected, please contact us at sweetlikehoneyearrings@gmail.com.

we do not have access to your payment details and hence do not store this data either. we will also never ask for your confidential bank information.
